Kudos to all of you who are doing 'Best of the Decade' posts, to be frank, I can't remember shit that happened last year, just doing 2009 was difficult enough for me, so I salute you. Catch up [18 Dec 2009|11:45am] lucky_jack [ mood | cold ] Lost control of the car twice this morning trying to get to the dentist down tiny, one car, rural Kentish roads. Dentist be damned! I'm still shaking with the pure fear of feeling the car slide out from under me. I'm dreading trying to get to work now. The snow has also meant arabia764 has had to postpone her visit to me today which is a big shame but totally understandable. On the plus side I am yet another 'winner' of the Merlin prize pack from the BAFTA even at the Barbican. As far as I can make out everybody that enetered has won. Not that I'm complaining. I don't think I ever did tell you about my Barrowman experience at Collectormania. Girl in front of me at autograph queue sneezes and JB hands her some alcohol hand gel with instructions on how to use it. My big mouth goes on to nervous autodrive and I blurt 'no, that's not how it's done, I'm a nurse'. JB, Gavin and the whole world look at me and get into a big debate about the correct procedure for hand hygeine. John insists you just rub it in, I insist that there is a procedure for these things. He and Gavin start to giggle madly and JB shouts 'alright then NHS lady' at the top of his voice. I apologise and hide behind my bag and JB laughs and forgives me my stupidity and all round divvyness. Honestly, One day I'll have a nice ordinary fandom experience like nice ordinary people have, and not say something straight out of The Book of Stupid. However, I also met Micha Collins and propositioned him with a Terry Thomas style 'hello' which he returned ten fold. I told Kai Owen that JB had fondled my breasts in the photo session and continued to turn into a total mong in front of GDL. I've met that boy countless times but I still never know what to say to him. He did tell me that Hollywood had rejected him for being too laid back and fat though. To which I replied 'but surely that's what it takes'.... Ah, Gareth, you live and learn mate. Yesterday went out for an afternoon 3 course dinner and wine with a friend and managed to get totally pissed. Having a hangover by 4pm is not the way forward for a productive day kids. And today?
